Hall of Fame will return to in-person selection meetings

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is set to implement two key changes to its selection process. Starting in 2027, the annual selection meeting will return to an in-person format, moving away from the virtual meetings adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the selection meeting and final voting will be scheduled closer to the announcement of the new Hall of Fame class. This change aims to align the process with Super Bowl week, allowing the announcement to occur during the NFL Honors ceremony. These adjustments are expected to reduce the likelihood of information leaks and enhance the quality of discussions among voters.
