Jerry Jones expects CB Trevon Diggs to return in Week 14

The Dallas Cowboys plan to open the 21-day practice window for cornerback Trevon Diggs this week, with expectations that he will return to play in Week 14. Team owner Jerry Jones stated that Diggs is anticipated to be on the field in Detroit, contingent on no unexpected setbacks. Diggs was placed on injured reserve on October 25 following a concussion sustained at home on October 16. According to Executive Vice President Stephen Jones, the time on injured reserve was also intended to allow Diggs to fully recover from a knee issue. Diggs has previously spent time on injured reserve, missing 15 games in 2023 due to an ACL tear and six games the prior year with a knee injury that required surgery. In the current season, Diggs has recorded 18 tackles in six games.
