Jesse Minter completes interview with the Falcons

Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter has completed an interview for the Atlanta Falcons head coaching position. The Falcons also interviewed Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley on the same day. Minter, who has guided the Chargers to top-10 finishes in points allowed over his two seasons, has become a sought-after candidate in the current head coaching market. He is also scheduled to interview with the Miami Dolphins and has previously interviewed with the Cardinals, Raiders, Ravens, and Titans. The Falcons' search for a new head coach includes a diverse pool of candidates, such as former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde, Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, and Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
