Jets hire linebackers coach Ben Boling, safeties coach Ryan Slowik

The New York Jets have expanded their coaching staff with four new hires, including Ben Boling as linebackers coach and Ryan Slowik as safeties coach. Boling joins from the Houston Texans, where he served five years, most recently as assistant linebackers coach. Slowik previously worked with the Miami Dolphins as defensive backs coach and passing game specialist. The Jets also brought in Ronald Booker as a defensive assistant/nickels coach, formerly a quality control coach with the Arizona Cardinals, and Collin Bauer as a defensive assistant, who spent the last three years in the UFL. These additions come as the Jets continue to reshape their defensive coaching under new coordinator Brian Duker.
