Joe Flacco: We'll see what's out there, don't want to sign with someone for the sake of it

Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, who recently concluded his 18th NFL season with a Pro Bowl appearance, is contemplating a return for a 19th season. During a discussion on PFT Live, Flacco emphasized the importance of playing opportunities in his decision-making process for the 2026 season, stating he doesn't want to join a team just to be sidelined. Flacco began the 2025 season as the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns but was later traded to the Cincinnati Bengals following Joe Burrow's toe injury. Although he enjoyed his stint with the Bengals, Flacco acknowledged that Burrow's presence would limit his chances to start. With Flacco having played for three of the four AFC North teams, he mentioned the prospect of joining the Pittsburgh Steelers, who currently have an unsettled quarterback situation, as an intriguing possibility. However, he stressed the need to carefully evaluate all potential opportunities before making a decision.
