Jordan Shipley hospitalized after suffering 'severe burns' in accident

Former Texas Longhorns football star Jordan Shipley has been hospitalized after sustaining severe burns in an accident on his ranch near Burnet, Texas. The incident occurred when the machine Shipley was operating caught fire. Despite escaping the blaze, Shipley suffered significant burns. He was initially taken to a local hospital by a ranch worker and then airlifted to Austin, where he is currently in critical but stable condition.

Shipley, 40, was a standout receiver for Texas from 2006 to 2009, forming a notable partnership with quarterback Colt McCoy. He was a third-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and played in 24 NFL games with the Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
