Journeyman College QB TJ Finley Signs to Play for Seventh School

TJ Finley, a college quarterback with a notable history of transfers, is set to join his seventh team, Incarnate Word, for the 2026 season. Finley's collegiate journey began at LSU in 2020, where he played as a true freshman due to an injury to starter Myles Brennan. Over the years, he has transferred through several programs, including Auburn, Texas State, Western Kentucky, Tulane, and Georgia State, largely driven by playing opportunities and NIL considerations.

Finley's most successful season came at Texas State, where he led the team to an 8–5 record in 2023, throwing for 3,439 yards and 24 touchdowns.
