Kennesaw State tops Liberty 48-42 in double OT, will play for Conference USA championship

Kennesaw State secured a 48-42 victory over Liberty in double overtime in Lynchburg, Virginia. Amari Odom led the Owls with a crucial 25-yard touchdown pass to Christian Moss on the first play of the second overtime. The Owls' defense held Liberty scoreless in response, securing the win. Odom completed 14 of 23 passes for 240 yards and four touchdowns, along with a 9-yard rushing touchdown. Liberty's Evan Dickens had a standout performance, rushing for 267 yards and four touchdowns, including a 95-yard scoring run. Despite a late opportunity, Liberty missed a potential game-winning field goal, sending the game into overtime. Kennesaw State will face Jacksonville State in the Conference USA title game.
