Lions to interview Zac Robinson on Thursday

The Detroit Lions are set to interview Zac Robinson for their open offensive coordinator position. Robinson, formerly the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons, is scheduled for an interview on Thursday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. Robinson has also been considered by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the same role. His experience includes five seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, where he advanced from assistant quarterbacks coach to passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach under Sean McVay. During his tenure with the Rams, Robinson worked closely with quarterback Jared Goff, who later became the Lions' starting quarterback in 2021. Other candidates for the Lions' position include Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka, former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, and Seahawks passing game coordinator Jake Peetz. The Commanders recently promoted David Blough to offensive coordinator, a candidate who had attracted interest from the Lions.
