Long Beach’s College Football Stars Complete Busy Bowl Season

The 2025 college football season is concluding with significant contributions from Long Beach athletes, although none will feature in the national title game between Miami and Indiana. Notably, Long Beach Poly alumni Dylan Williams and Daylen Austin were part of Oregon’s run to the College Football Playoff semifinals. Austin has since transferred to Arizona.

Donovan Turner, another Poly alum, has transferred from Illinois to Sacramento State, while Millikan graduates Ezavier Staples and Myles Jackson have entered the NCAA Transfer Portal from UCLA and Stanford, respectively.

In bowl games, several Long Beach players made an impact. Jordan Washington from Jordan High contributed to Washington's win in the LA Bowl, while Tacario Davis is preparing for the NFL Draft and will participate in the Senior Bowl. Bryun Parham declared for the 2026 NFL Draft following a standout season at UConn.
