Michigan State football reportedly hires new player personnel staffer

Michigan State football has hired AJ Pearson as the new assistant director of player personnel. Pearson's responsibilities will include assisting in roster construction through recruiting and scouting efforts. Before joining Michigan State, Pearson served as the Director of Player Personnel at Toledo and previously worked as a recruiting assistant at the University of Michigan. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines from 2014 to 2016. Pearson's experience and familiarity with the region, including the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry, are expected to be valuable assets in his new role.
