Nation's No. 3 QB Linked to Three Major College Football Programs

The college football offseason has entered a crucial phase of roster management, with attention now turning to the 2027 high school recruiting cycle. Among the top prospects is Andre Adams, a standout quarterback from Antioch High School in Tennessee. Adams, who set a state record with 714 total yards in a single game, is ranked as the No. 3 quarterback by Rivals and No. 10 by 247Sports for the class of 2027.

Adams is considering three schools: Kentucky, Virginia Tech, and Oregon. He plans to visit all three programs in March. Kentucky, under new head coach Will Stein, previously extended an offer to Adams in January and hopes to capitalize on Stein’s offensive pedigree. Virginia Tech, having recently hired James Franklin as head coach, seeks to secure Adams as the first commit of their 2027 class.
