Oregon in the mix for top-ranked 2027 S Honor Fa'alave-Johnson

Five-star safety Honor Fa'alave-Johnson has announced his final six college choices in his recruitment process. The schools under consideration are Oregon, USC, Miami, LSU, Texas, and Notre Dame. Fa'alave-Johnson, considered the top safety in the 2027 class and ranked 16th overall by 247 Sports Composite, hails from Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, California. This decision is significant as he had offers from nearly every major college program nationwide.

The Oregon Ducks, one of his final choices, have the opportunity to secure a five-star safety for the second consecutive recruiting class, following the signing of Jett Washington, the top safety in the 2026 class. Currently, Oregon's 2027 recruiting class includes four commits, two of whom are defensive players. Fa'alave-Johnson's commitment could provide a substantial boost to Oregon's recruiting efforts.
