Oregon makes the final ten schools for 2027 5-star DL Marcus Fakatou

The Oregon Ducks football program is aiming to secure a commitment from five-star defensive lineman Marcus Fakatou, a top prospect in the class of 2027. Fakatou, currently ranked as the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 35 player overall by 247 Sports Composite, has included Oregon among his final ten schools. Other contenders for his commitment include Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Penn State, and five additional programs. Fakatou plays for Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, California, and is the third-ranked player in the state. Oregon's 2027 recruiting class currently has four commits, including three-star linebacker Sam Ngata and four-star edge rusher Cameron Prittchet. Landing Fakatou would be a significant boost for the Ducks, who finished with the second-ranked recruiting class for 2026.
