Quarterback Anthony Colandrea commits to Nebraska while on Tuesday visit

Nebraska football has secured a commitment from UNLV quarterback Anthony Colandrea, who will join the team for the 2026 season. This comes shortly after losing a commitment from Kenny Minchey, who decided to sign with Kentucky. Colandrea, originally from Virginia, transferred to UNLV where he had a standout season, throwing for 3,459 yards, 23 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also rushed for 649 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year title and leading the team to a 10-4 record. Rated as the No. 175 overall player and the No. 21 quarterback in the 2026 transfer portal cycle, Colandrea committed to Nebraska during his campus visit on Tuesday, following visits to Florida State and Georgia Tech. Nebraska also hosted Missouri quarterback transfer Beau Pribula.
