Penn State has secured Rocco Becht as its quarterback for the 2026 college football season through the transfer portal. Becht, a standout from Iowa State, follows coach Matt Campbell to Penn State after Campbell accepted the head coaching position with the Nittany Lions. Becht is projected to start in his final year of eligibility, bringing significant experience and a high ranking as the No. 8 transfer quarterback in the 2026 cycle.

During his time at Iowa State, Becht achieved numerous records, leading the Cyclones to their first double-digit-win season in 2024.
