Report: Browns have interest in Mike McDaniel for head coach

The Miami Dolphins have dismissed head coach Mike McDaniel, making him a prominent contender for offensive coordinator roles in the current coaching cycle. The possibility also exists for McDaniel to secure another head coaching position swiftly. The Cleveland Browns are reportedly interested in McDaniel for their head coaching vacancy. McDaniel has a prior connection with the Browns, having served as their receivers coach in 2014 under head coach Mike Pettine. His tenure with the Browns coincided with Kyle Shanahan's role as offensive coordinator. McDaniel subsequently joined Shanahan in Atlanta and later in San Francisco. McDaniel's record with the Dolphins stands at 35-33 in the regular season and 0-2 in the postseason.
