Report: Browns request to interview Bengals OC Dan Pitcher

The Cleveland Browns have requested an interview with Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher for their head coaching position. The Browns are also considering several other candidates, including their own offensive coordinator Tommy Rees, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, and Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde. The Browns recently appointed Kevin Stefanski as head coach on January 5. Dan Pitcher has been the Bengals’ offensive coordinator for the past two seasons, marking his first role in that capacity. His NFL coaching career began with the Bengals in 2016, progressing from offensive assistant to assistant quarterbacks coach in 2019, and then to quarterbacks coach in 2020. Prior to his coaching roles, Pitcher worked as a scout for the Indianapolis Colts for four years.
