Report: Cardinals to hire Matt Schaub as QBs coach

The Arizona Cardinals are hiring former NFL quarterback Matt Schaub as their quarterbacks coach. The hiring follows Schaub's previous role as a football analyst for the Atlanta Falcons and at the University of Virginia. New head coach Mike LaFleur, who had previously worked with Schaub in Atlanta in 2016, will oversee the team. Schaub was initially drafted by the Falcons in the third round in 2004 and later played for the Texans, Raiders, and Ravens. During his career, Schaub made two Pro Bowl appearances, started 93 games, and recorded 25,467 passing yards with 136 touchdowns. The Cardinals are expected to make changes at the quarterback position, potentially moving on from Kyler Murray.
