Report: Ejiro Evero to have second interview with Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are advancing their search for a new head coach by arranging a second, in-person interview with Ejiro Evero, the defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers, next week. Evero initially interviewed with the Raiders virtually on Wednesday. Since joining the Panthers in 2023, Evero has improved their defense significantly, moving from the league's bottom in 2024 to 16th in yards allowed and 15th in points allowed in 2025. He previously led top-10 defenses with the Broncos in 2022 and the Panthers in 2023. The meeting is scheduled to occur in South Florida. Evero is also a candidate for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ head coaching position.
