Report: Mike McDaniel to interview for Bucs offensive coordinator job

Former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is set to interview for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' open offensive coordinator position, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report. McDaniel, who previously held the head coach position with the Dolphins, was released after posting a 35-33 record over four seasons, including an 0-2 playoff record. He has also been considered for head coaching roles with the Falcons, Ravens, Titans, and Browns, as well as an offensive coordinator position with the Lions. The Eagles are reportedly interested in McDaniel for their offensive coordinator vacancy. Prior to his head coaching role with the Dolphins, McDaniel served as the offensive coordinator for the 49ers in 2021 and was their run game coordinator from 2017 to 2020.
