Report: Seahawks block Justin Outten from interviewing with Raiders

The Seattle Seahawks have blocked Justin Outten, their run game specialist and assistant offensive line coach, from interviewing with the Las Vegas Raiders. New Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak expressed interest in Outten for the role of run game coordinator in Las Vegas. Outten, 42, joined Seattle in 2025 after working with the Tennessee Titans, where he served as running backs coach and run game coordinator in 2023 before transitioning to tight ends coach in 2024 under head coach Brian Callahan. Previously, Outten was the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos in 2022 and the tight ends coach for the Green Bay Packers from 2019 to 2021. He is considered a potential candidate to succeed Kubiak as the Seahawks' offensive coordinator.
