Report: Steelers request interview with 49ers OC Klay Kubiak

Meanwhile, Kubiak's brother, Klay, is receiving attention as the Steelers have requested an interview with him for their offensive coordinator position. Klay Kubiak is currently in his first season as the 49ers' offensive coordinator, contributing to their seventh-place ranking in total yards and tenth in scoring despite not calling plays under head coach Kyle Shanahan.

The Kubiak brothers are sons of Gary Kubiak, a former head coach who led the Denver Broncos to victory in Super Bowl 50.
