Samson Nacua won't be charged for car theft

Samson Nacua, recently drafted by the Birmingham Stallions of the UFL, was involved in an incident where he mistakenly took a car he believed belonged to his brother, Puka Nacua, a first-team All-Pro receiver with the Rams. The car actually belonged to Lakers forward Adou Thiero. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department clarified that Samson Nacua thought the vehicle was his brother’s because it was the same model and color. The case was not pursued further as Thiero did not wish to prosecute. Nacua and Trey Rose were initially arrested after the vehicle was tracked to a hotel parking lot in Los Angeles. Samson Nacua, undrafted in 2022, has been on preseason rosters for the Colts and Saints and played in both the USFL and UFL.
