Scott Slant: An inevitable College Football Hall of Fame induction

Chris Petersen, the former head coach of Boise State and Washington, has been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Petersen is celebrated for his exceptional record with the Boise State Broncos, achieving a 92-12 record that included two undefeated seasons and legendary Fiesta Bowl victories. At Washington, Petersen led the Huskies to two Pac-12 titles and a berth in the 2016 College Football Playoff, finishing with a 55-26 record over six seasons.

Petersen's career began at Boise State in 2001 as the offensive coordinator before becoming head coach in 2006.
