Shedeur Sanders will start for the Browns in Week 13

Shedeur Sanders is set to start his second consecutive game as quarterback for the Cleveland Browns in Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers. Sanders, who became the first Browns rookie quarterback since 1995 to win his NFL debut, will be playing his first home game. Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Sanders' starting role despite Dillon Gabriel, the team's previous starter, being cleared from concussion protocol. Sanders replaced Gabriel after the latter's injury in Week 11 and led the Browns to a 24-10 victory over the Raiders. In that game, Sanders completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards, including a touchdown and an interception. His performance featured a 66-yard touchdown pass to running back Dylan Sampson and a 52-yard pass to rookie receiver Isaiah Bond.
