Steelers to interview Jeff Hafley on Saturday

The Pittsburgh Steelers are advancing their head coaching search by scheduling interviews with several candidates. Jeff Hafley, the current defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers, is set to interview on Saturday. The team will also conduct interviews with Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula and Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase on Friday. Hafley has recently interviewed with the Raiders and has met with the Falcons, Dolphins, and Titans as well. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur expressed confidence that Hafley is likely to secure a head coaching position during this hiring cycle. Steelers owner Art Rooney II mentioned that the team's search process is expected to take weeks, indicating that additional candidates will likely be considered.
