Titans to interview Steve Spagnuolo on Thursday

The Tennessee Titans are set to interview Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo for their head coaching vacancy. According to Albert Breer of SI.com, the interview is scheduled for Thursday. Currently, the Titans are the only team requesting an interview with Spagnuolo during this hiring cycle. Both Spagnuolo and Titans General Manager Mike Borgonzi have a shared history in Kansas City, working together from 2019 to 2024. Despite past associations, Borgonzi emphasized that the coaching search will prioritize finding the best candidate for the organization, stating the importance of removing any biases. Spagnuolo previously coached the Rams to a 10-38 record over three seasons and served as the interim head coach for the Giants in 2017. Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who also worked with Borgonzi in Kansas City, is another candidate set to interview with the Titans.
