Transfer Haul: Iowa State's outgoing, incoming LBs and a projected depth chart

In a significant overhaul, Iowa State football's roster underwent major changes this offseason under new head coach Jimmy Rogers. Over 50 players exited the program through the transfer portal, while approximately 45 new players were brought in to replace them. This has resulted in a reshaped roster of about 105 players as the Cyclones prepare for the 2026 season. The changes are part of a strategic effort by Rogers to maximize the potential of the current roster without looking back. The team is currently evaluating positions, starting with running backs, in preparation for the spring practices.
