Chargers announce 2026 football schedule with seven home dates

Hillsdale College's football team will play an unprecedented seven home games in the 2026 season, marking a historic moment in the program's 134-year history. The Chargers will host three home games in September and three consecutive home games in mid-October. The season opens with home matches against McKendree University on September 5 and Wayne State University on September 12, reigniting a rivalry that dates back to 1909.

The home schedule includes notable conference games against G-MAC co-champions Findlay on October 17 and Ashland on November 7, with the latter being the annual Traveling Trophy game. Other home opponents are Thomas More on September 26, Walsh on October 10 for the Homecoming game, and Tiffin on October 24 during Parents' Weekend.
