The Dallas Cowboys' trade acquisition of wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers has proven to be a significant boost to their offense. Through 11 games, Pickens ranks second in the NFL for receiving yards, with 1,054 yards on 67 catches and eight touchdowns, boasting an average of 15.7 yards per catch.

Quarterback Dak Prescott praised Pickens' performance, citing his limitless potential and leadership qualities on the field. Pickens' emergence as a key playmaker has shifted some of the focus away from fellow wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who caught four passes for 75 yards in the same game.

With Pickens approaching free agency, the Cowboys are considering options to retain him, including the possibility of using the franchise tag, projected to be over $28 million for 2026. Team owner Jerry Jones expressed his
