Nico Collins carted off with head injury

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was carted off the field with a head injury during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The injury occurred with 1:25 left in the third quarter at Acrisure Stadium when Collins' head hit the turf after attempting to catch a low pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud. After receiving medical attention on the field and a brief visit to the sideline medical tent, Collins was transported off on a cart, covering his head with a towel. Initially listed as questionable for return, he was later ruled out with a concussion. Despite Collins' exit, the Texans managed to extend their lead to 10-6 with a 51-yard field goal by Ka’imi Fairbairn. At that point in the game, the Texans had outgained the Steelers 324 to 142 yards, although Stroud's three turnovers had kept Pittsburgh within reach.
