Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan named 2025 AP NFL Offensive Rookie of Year

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan has been named the 2025 AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. McMillan, the eighth-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, received 41 out of 50 first-place votes. He outperformed finalists including Saints quarterback Tyler Shough, Giants QB Jaxson Dart, Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson, and Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka. McMillan's performance was crucial to the Panthers' success, as he recorded 70 receptions for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns over 17 games. His contribution helped the Panthers win the NFC South and break a seven-season playoff drought. McMillan's standout season included leading all rookies with 27 receptions of 16-plus yards, and a notable Week 11 performance with 130 yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons.
