Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet has significant knee injury, out for remainder of playoffs

Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the playoffs, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. The injury occurred during Seattle's 41-6 Divisional Round victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed the significant knee injury, stating that Charbonnet will require surgery. The running back was injured in the second quarter after recording five carries for 20 yards and did not return to the game. Despite initial optimism, further tests revealed the severity of the injury. Charbonnet, who achieved career highs this season with 730 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, formed a key backfield duo with Kenneth Walker III. Walker will now assume the primary rushing responsibilities in the upcoming NFC Championship Game against the Los Angeles Rams, following his impressive 145-yard, three-touchdown performance.
