Sean Payton expects Dre Greenlaw back for next week, has no comment on J.K. Dobbins

The Denver Broncos secured the AFC’s sole bye week and are set to have linebacker Dre Greenlaw return for the playoffs after missing the last two regular-season games due to a hamstring injury. Coach Sean Payton indicated optimism about Greenlaw's return but was non-committal regarding running back J.K. Dobbins, who is recovering from a foot injury sustained in Week 10 against the Raiders. Dobbins, who rushed for 772 yards over 10 games, had been on track for a 1,300-yard season before being placed on injured reserve.

In Dobbins's absence, rookie RJ Harvey has been the primary back, finishing the season with 540 rushing yards and 12 total touchdowns. Jaleel McLaughlin, who started the game that secured the top seed, gained 187 rushing yards for the season. Dobbins’s return would boost the Broncos' offensive capabilities as they aim for a Super Bowl run.
